DONE.

1. Papers done! Graduy tomorrow!

2. Paper zits. Much like paper cuts, only more painful and more frustrating when you're about to meet your boyfriend's entire family.

3. Finally! My Ralph's doesn't carry B&J's AmeriCone Dream, but finally I found some at another store. I love me some ice cream from the man who brought us this.

4. As a post-paper-#1 splurge, I bought Grain de Folie perfume, based on this review by this food blogger I read, and I am loving it! It's so funny how you can put on a perfume that you love and stop smelling it within 5 minutes, but a new one haunts you all day long!

It came with some matching moisturizer, with a bizarre disclaimer:

Apparently it moisturizes the upper skin layers only. Um, OK, I assumed all products just moisturized the upper skin layers only. There are products that don't?? Perhaps the French are smarter than we are?

5. I am done, done, done!!!

The Germans are working on a topical lung moisturizer!

Posted by: July at May 10, 2007 07:17 PM

Congratz on being done! Whenever I find a disclaimer like that, I look the other way. I don't want to know why they feel the need to remind you to only use it on your outer layer of skin. Yeesh. Um, Julie's comment about the Germans? Way Funny! =)

Posted by: carolyn at May 11, 2007 06:28 AM

singing style: "congratulations and celebrations"...woohoo! I know how excited I was when I was done last year! Word from the wise: don't drink 4 bottles of champagne in celebration cos the hangover lasts about a week and you'll be in serious danger of falling flat on your face...no wait, that was just me, oh well. Have a good'un!

Congratulations! Welcome to the non-school world. Getting paid is nice, I must say.

No one said anything about Stephen Colbert and Americone Dream! Well I will! I loves me some Colbert and Ben & Jerry's makes good ice cream, but I was disappointed in Americone Dream! It was so...blah. Haagen Dazs came out with a waffle cone flavor a couple of years ago which is roughly the same thing but better. Just my 2c. You'll have to post your review! The carton of course is much cooler since it has Colbert on it. I totally washed the carton out and kept it. Dear god I love that man!

Yeah for you!!! Yeah for Graduation!!!

My son just graduated from high school and I can't be prouder, OK, well if he was to graduate college I would be more prouder.

Great accomplishment!

Posted by: jen at May 13, 2007 07:10 PM

Um...
when they say upper skin layers only, they mean don't use it....um......for inside moisturizing.
Like one would use KY.
(runs away all embarrassed)

Swung over from CAP's site. Congratulations, I wish I had the guts to do what I really want - like make a difference in this world, but unfortunately my kitties are spoiled and Mommie's got to put a roof over their heads & pay the bills.....and I love my Colbert too!

Posted by: LibChicAZ at May 14, 2007 04:51 PM

Here via CAP's site...

Joining the others in wishing you CONGRATS on your graduation. My friend graduated from Purdue this past Saturday with a J.D. degree. I know from what he's told me...it's VERY tough stuff!

Good luck in your future endeavors!
