Pillow Talk
[SCENE: The Boy and me in bed, heading toward the land of Nod after a quiet Thursday night of (apparently too much) TV.]
The Boy [rolls over toward me]: Nausea.
Me: What?
The Boy: Nausea. That's what was missing.
Me: ...
The Boy: From the Pepto Bismol commercial. [singing] Nausea, heart burn, indigestion...
Me: [singing along] Upset stomach, diarrhea.
[END SCENE]
Almost makes you wish you had a stomach ache -- or at least wish that advertisers were banned from making catchy jingles about bodily ailments. If you too would like to have the PeptoMax theme stuck in your head for 24 hours, check it out.

I still have the Mcdonald's song for the BigMac stuck in my head after all these years. Two all beef patties, special sauce, lettuce, cheese, pickles, onions on a sesame seed bun. Oh yeah, I'm cool. Do you want me to recite the Sprite commercial that parodies The Night Before Christmas? I know you do.

I thought you conversation was going to end with him puking in the bathroom. Glad that that wasn't the case.

I hate getting jingles stuck in my head. And now I am going to leave this post quickly before I end up with this one stuck in my head.

That's one of those commercials where I feel bad for the actors who got hired to do it. Especially the person who gets stuck doing the diarrhia dance. And can I just say I am so impressed with you that you can spell diarrhia? I can never remember how to spell it. Not that I need to spell it very much. I need to stop typing about diarrhia now.

Ha! I have irritable bowel syndrome and migraines. My boyfriend swears that jingle is my theme song. Oh well, you gotta laugh.
And, if you want something to stick in your head, try the theme song to Charles in Charge. "Charles in Charge, of our days and our nights. Charles in charge, of our roles and our rights! And I want Charles in charge of me..." I have NO idea why, but I walk around singing that ALL of the TIME.

Ooooh, I hate the Pepto commercials! Especially the one with the gigantic people--very scary. I was raised in a household where we did not discuss our tummy ailments, so these commercials are very disturbing to me.
Now the "Charles in Charge" theme is playing over and over and over in my head.
