At least your gossip habit is free. I need to make a resolution to stop buying Us Weekly. I read the whole damn thing in half an hour.

I think you got me into celebrity gossip, too. I wonder how many you've turned to the dark side? It was a gloomy afternoon at Market St., and everyone was talking about supermodels. I admitted that I had no idea who all of you were talking about, and received astonished looks from all who were present (so I guess it was a group effort).

When I saw your last post, I started to type a comment, to say that I would join you in your resolution. But then your post reminded me that I hadn't seen GFY in a few days and my resolution was over within seconds. So several hours actually seems like quite an accomplishment (unless you were sleeping the whole time).

I am so totally addicted to the gossip sites and ashamed that I purged all of my bookmarks (like I don't know the URLs by heart - its like deep set muscle typing memory once I hit the keyboard) in an effort to stop my insanity.

I too contributed to bumming Kate's running trip.. but I was so excited to hear that Fergie used to lie about her meth habit by claiming bulemia and that Lindsey's Mom (Dinah to me) is ready for life with George Clooney and of course the hugest news of all that Nic and Paris had lunch (ha!ha! - they don't eat really do they) that I only was away from my beloved celebrity gossip for 14 hours..

Sure, I will admit it -- I have given up my subscription to the Nation and Harpers and now I happily subscribe to Star, People, E, and Us. I have standards you know - if the cover isn't glossy I won't subscribe- just pick it up on line at the market...

Absolutely nothing wrong with celeb gossip. What else am I supposed to doing in class? Paying attention? Hah!
