First Day, Burning Questions
Today was my first day at work at The Firm. There was lots of orienting involved. Firm orientation, library orientation, technology orientation, and of course an ergonomics video from the 1980s w/ some serious Lee Press-Ons and a shot of a Macintosh HD box. Awesome.
A very good first day.
And my burning question is: what should I bring to work tomorrow to decorate my new office with?
a) My homies and my bunny.
b) A nice line-up of Tums, Gas-X, and Pepto Bismol, to scare anyone out of my office quickly.
c) An 8x10 glossy of my cats. Also to scare anyone out of my office quickly.
d) My old softball trophies, and the ribbon from when I won the long jump in 2nd grade.
What do you think?

Undoubtedly the ribbon from 2nd grade. Framed.
Gold.
I wish I had a ribbon from 2nd grade, then I'd do it with you, post it on the web and you'd have started another silly blogger craze. (Because there hasn't been enough of them already).
The bunny you should post to me, to keep my Albert Einstein action figurine (because Arnold's got nothing on Albert) company on my desk @ work.

I vote for the trophies. I swear we hired someone once at the Firm I worked at because she put down Family Ties reruns as an interest on her resume. ;)

All of the above!
Well, maybe start with the homies and bunny. But, eventually, all of the above!

ALL of the above.

I love the homies but the 2nd grade ribbon is quite a presentation...just take them both at keep them guessing.

Oh my god. Apparently I'm totally confused about your schedule. Just to clarify, I texted you "hope you're having a fun, debaucherous time" because I thought you were still in Vegas, NOT at your first day of work. Ugh.

I think I would go with the homies and the bunny. By the way, have you seen the book "Mijos"? It's by the guy who created the homies.

I don't want to say anything that might get you into trouble on the internets, but uhhh... there was a certain uhh... souvenir that you were left with after a particularly bad sunburn one time...
You could bring that.
If you have it.
And if you do have it?
That's gross.

One of the Nicks was over at my apartment and saw my dunny (it's a dunny, not a bunny) and said that it was actually worth lots of money. Go figure.

Sounds like you two may have to insure the dunnies.

Pull inspiration from the great comic stylings of 'The Office', bring in only the quirky items that will establish you as 'that girl with the ___'
