Jingle Bells Are Ringing in My Head

Or maybe it is just bats in my belfry.
This is the point in the semester where I realize I am 80 kajillion pages behind in Public International Law and finals are nipping at my heels. But how do I react?
By adding even more social engagements to my calendar, starting a new exercise regimen and cooking up ambitious plans for Christmas presents, of course!
I can't help myself. Maybe it's the gingerbread lattes now available at Starbucks. Maybe it's because I watched Home Alone today while typing up my Real Estate Finance notes. But already, the holiday spirit has taken up residence.
So because I am totally nuts, and despite of the fact that the last time I made a mix Laurie and I nearly broke up over some Photoshop and card stock issues, I'm making an indie Christmas mix!
Want one? If so, e-mail me your address at jen@sundayundies.com!

I'm crazy for the HOT CARAMEL APPLE CIDER at Starbucks (with a dollop of whipped cream on top... MMMMMM!).

I must remember to avoid the gingerbread lattes. It's just too early to be getting into the spirit.

Penny! Do not give away my secret! ;-) No, there will be some new music on there.
I have never tried the hot caramel apple cider. Or the gingerbread lattes actually. It's just their presence at Starbucks that gets me in the mood. Ooh, but I have tried the pumpkin loaf, which I love.

Hot caramel apple cider? I may just die from happiness at the thought.
I think I might need to start an exercise regimen, too, if I continue to be suckered by Starbucks holiday drinks. Yowza.

Obviously I want a CD.
I do not go to to Starbucks because um, you know, I feel that they're supposedly some big evil corporate monster but I don't really know the technicalities, I just know that I like Coffee Bean more and HELL YEAH they just opened up a new store ONE block away from me (as opposed to like the five hundred others that are within a mile-radius of my apartment). Maybe it's because I went to a liberal institution that had protests as regularly as France has them (which was a funnier statement before the sad current rioting). Every day, someone new's protesting on the Main Green!
Anyhow, I agree with Dagny. TOO EARLY to think about Christmas. Although I do have a damn cute idea for Christmas cards this year. And presents.
I need food to stop the rambling.

p.s. i am thinking about nothing but christmas, but i am more thinking about christmas VACATION then the actual holiday as i will be in minnesota for AT LEAST 9 days. maybe more. potentially 14. *fingers crossed*

Ooh, CD! I've been debating between making a late fall/early winter mix or a full-out holiday mix. Either way, we should swap.

I'm already engulfed in the holiday spirit this year... could be the snow, could be the ornaments friends are coming over to paint tomorrow, or just the early invasion in the stores. and I'd love a holiday cd, but since you don't know me, I won't make you send me one...
